About RCAS
GreetingThe livestock products are essential to support our foods. Stable supply of high quality livestock products is one of the most important concerns for the present and the future because of the rapid increasing of human population over the world. Therefore, studies on the technology development for sustainable increase in the production of the livestock with superior ability, the effective nutritional control and management technology of them, and maintenance of their health are necessary. Because advanced fundamental researches are carried out in the field of zoology of our country, the development of the studies with new ideas is expected by the collaboration of animal science and the fundamental researches. The research Center for Animal Science, Hiroshima University (RCAS) aims to develop the advanced animal science and technology for the production of livestock with good quality and health. The RCAS will also make efforts to form domestic and international research networks for contributing to the world community (Asian region in particular) through a development of animal science and technology.
